Naval Officer, author, husband and father:  Ellis F. Price died on 4 March, 2018 at the age of 85.  He will be sorely missed.

  2. I never met him, but have followed his blog for quite sometime. He has shown me some terrific adventures and I thank him for that. My thoughts are with you all.

  6. I just came across this Blog and was reading all the adventures then came across this last post. I am truly sorry for your loss but thank you for leaving a hiking legacy of wonderful memories, I will think of you all on my adventures and leave a prayer along the trail. God Bless

Thank you sharing your adventures, and leaving a legacy for those of us who wish to trace your footsteps. RIP.

  9. I’ve used this blog to find some really cool secret spots in AZ. It’s such a hidden gem on the internet and coming to find this last blog post is definitely sad. But he has inspired so many adventures & I’m sure would love that his blog is still going strong. Thank you Ellis! 🙏🏼
