I just came across this Blog and was reading all the adventures then came across this last post. I am truly sorry for your loss but thank you for leaving a hiking legacy of wonderful memories, I will think of you all on my adventures and leave a prayer along the trail. God Bless

I’ve used this blog to find some really cool secret spots in AZ. It’s such a hidden gem on the internet and coming to find this last blog post is definitely sad. But he has inspired so many adventures & I’m sure would love that his blog is still going strong. Thank you Ellis! 🙏🏼

Dad left me his truck and cowboy hat. I wear the hat when I drive the truck. He was my best friend.
