“Baldwin
Trail” –
Another
great loop hike about 3 miles long, this
hike provides wonderful views of Cathedral Rock. It will take us down
towards red rock crossing to enjoy some sounds of the creek.

Directions:
From
Cottonwood: Go through Cornville to beaver head flat road to village
of Oak creek. Then turn left at the Verde Valley School Rd round
about. Follow all the way out till road turns to dirt, then about a
mile in look for trail head lot on the left.

June 13th
“Cliff
Rose Trail” – Such
a perfect get off the couch and come walk with us hike! A nice scenic
1.5 mile loop boasting great views of Sedona rocks and Mingus
Mountain. Come take a stroll with us.

Directions:
From
Cottonwood, Head towards Sedona on 89A at the Cornville Rd light take
a left on the Mingus extension. About .2 tenths of a mile on the
right hand side is the entrance to the trail head.

June 20 th
“Chimney
Rock Loop” – This
is a sweet little 1.6ish mile loop trail. Great views and right under
the might Thunder Mountain., with fairly easy terrain with a couple
of small climbs to get you breathing.

Directions:
From
Cottonwood-Head to Sedona via 89A. Turn left on Dry Creek Road. Then
turn right on to Thunder Mountain Road. Then about .2 turn left at
the Thunder Mountain Trail Head Parking Area. Red Rock Pass Needed.
Tuesday
June 27th
“Fay
Canyon” – An
easy walking 2 mile out and back canyon hike. This is a beautiful
high walled canyon that also boasts a natural archway. (2-2.5 hours)
Note: you will need a red rock pass.

Directions:
Coming
into Sedona from Cottonwood, take a left at the Dry Creek Road light.
Follow road out, at the first “T” take a left, and then at the
second “T” take another left. In about 2-3 tenths of a mile you
will see a nice paved parking lot on the left side of the road (trail
head is on the right).
