14: Long Canyon Indian Ruins
Distance:

Difficulty:
Trailhead elev: 4550 feet; total ascent: 812 feet, but with
additional ups and downs.
Description:
On Long Canyon Trail except for the last 0.2 miles which is on a
faint side trail. Included is a slight detour on a well-developed
trail to visit the Birthing Cave.

21: Templeton Trail to Cathedral Trail
Distance:
7.4 to 8.6 miles
Difficulty:
Trailhead elev: 4390 feet; total ascent: 354 feet, but with
additional ups and downs.
Description:
Start at Hwy 179 at about mile marker 309 and hike to the junction
with Cathedral Rock Trail. Some may choose to hike farther on
Cathedral Rock Trail.
